✦ These flat-woven mats do not feature a rubber backing; secure them using double-sided carpet tape or stair tread grippers (sold separately).
✦ Press firmly along the front edge, then smooth the mat back toward the riser.
✦ For curved or pie-shaped winder steps, contact us prior to ordering for custom-shaped pieces.

NOTE 1: every mat is made by hand, so the angle of the rows and the colour order shift a little from piece to piece. That variation is the mark of handwork, not a fault.
NOTE 2: a little loose fibre in the first few weeks is normal. Trim any strand that stands proud, never pull it.
NOTE 3: the bright cord is dyed. Blot spills quickly and keep the mats off wet floors, because colour sitting against pale natural cord can transfer while damp.
NOTE 4: the pattern is on the top face, so lay each mat with this side up.
NOTE 5: duty and taxes are already paid by us. Nothing more to pay on delivery.

Care Instructions

Caring for your natural fiber rug is simple:

Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth. For stubborn spots, spot clean by blotting with a mild detergent and allow rug to dry on a flat surface.

Shake dirt and debris out or hand vacuum on the lowest setting and without the beater bar.

Shedding of loose fibers is normal and will diminish over time with regular vacuuming. Sprouting is also normal, in which loose rug fibers poke up out of the rug surface.

Washing Instructions

DO NOT Brush Or Scrub The Rug.

Only Vacuum Clean It Periodically. Avoid Using Vacuum Beater Brush Mode.

If Spills Occur, Blot Immediately. Do Not Rub The Stain.

Rotate Occasionally To Equalize Wear.

Use Protectors Under The Legs Of Heavy Furniture To Avoid Flattening And Piling.

If Thread Comes Out Do Not Pull The Yarn, Trim With Scissors.
