Returns
For purchases made from Indian Rug Store, returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, with a deduction of a $25 processing fee per item. To be eligible for a refund, the returned item must be in new condition and free from:
- Pet dander or fur
- Dirt or grass stains
- Signs of wear, washing, or improper care
- Damage or stains
Returned items undergo a thorough inspection, and those deemed unsellable due to condition will not be refunded. Please ensure that returned items are shipped back in their original or similarly protective packaging to prevent damage during transit. Refunds are credited back to the original form of payment used for the purchase. Additional details on exchanges can be found on our website.
For Indian Rug Store products, exchanges are available within 30 days of delivery for customers residing in the U.S., with no additional cost. However, currently, we do not offer exchanges for customers outside the U.S. Here are the key points to consider:
- To qualify for an exchange, the original item must be in new condition and returned without:
- Each order is eligible for one exchange only; exchanges of already exchanged items are not permitted.
- Discounts and promo codes cannot be applied to exchanges. Instead, you'll receive credit for the full retail value of the item being exchanged.
- If the item for exchange costs less than the original purchase, we'll refund the difference. If it costs more, you'll be charged for the difference.
- Exchange credits cannot be stored for future use; they must be utilized immediately.
- Exchanges are limited to similar items only (e.g., Rug System for a Rug System, Rug Cover for a Rug Cover).

Rug Returns and Exchanges Instructions:
For Customers in the U.S.:
If you've received your order within the last 30 days at a U.S. address, we recommend using our Self-Service Portal for returns or exchanges. Each customer is eligible for one free exchange per item. Please note, a $25 processing fee will be deducted per returned item. Additional exchange information can be found here.
For Customers in Canada:
If you received your order within the last 30 days and reside in Canada, please initiate a return by contacting our Customer Care Team at support@indianrugstore.com. We'll provide a prepaid return label. Currently, exchanges are not available for customers outside the U.S. A $25 processing fee will be deducted per returned item.
For Indian Rug Store Rug System Exchanges:
Ensure to return the entire Rug System, including both the Rug Pad and the Rug Cover.
For Standalone Rug Cover or Rug Pad Returns:
