JUTE RUG CARE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Vacuum Regularly: Use a vacuum with strong suction and no beater bar. Vacuum regularly to remove dust and dirt.

2. Spot Clean Only: If there is a spill, blot it immediately using a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub. Use a mild soap solution and water for spot cleaning, but avoid soaking the rug.

3. Dry Immediately: After spot cleaning, dry the area completely using a fan or by placing the rug under sunlight for a short time.

4. Avoid Moisture: Jute is a natural fibre and is highly absorbent. Prolonged exposure to moisture can lead to mold or mildew. Keep the rug in a dry area and avoid placing it in damp or humid spaces.

5. Professional Cleaning: For deep cleaning, it is recommended to use a professional rug cleaner experienced with natural fiber rugs.

6. Use Rug Pads: Placing a rug pad underneath helps avoid slipping and increases the lifespan of the rug.

7. Trim Loose Fibres: Do not pull on loose fibres—simply tuck them back or trim with scissors and knot the ends.

8. Air Dry: In case the rug gets wet, ensure it is laid flat and allowed to air dry thoroughly in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Avoid hanging it to prevent distortion.

NOTE-1: All of our products are handmade and are worked on by several artisans and the product goes through several hand-processes. Hence, there could be very little variations than the actual look from the photos, which indeed is the characteristic of this hand-made rug giving it an authentic handmade rug look.   

NOTE-2: Rugs shall be shipped in folded packaging. Hence, when the rug is unpacked by the customer, there might be creases / folding lines. These are due to the fold packaging. These creases / folding lines shall go naturally in a few days automatically as used.   

NOTE-3: Actual colors may vary slightly from those shown in the photos due to lighting conditions during photography, individual monitor or screen settings, and the handmade nature of the product.

NOTE-4: Also note any duty or tax incurred in the client's country will be borne by the client only. Normally it does not occur on small items.
