Around 40 years ago, in the heart of Jaipur — famously known as the Pink City and the land of majestic palaces — the journey of Indian Rug Store began as a small family-owned rug store built on craftsmanship, tradition, and trust.

Tourists visiting Jaipur used to visit our store and buy handmade rugs inspired by the rich craftsmanship of Rajasthan. Once they returned home, many customers contacted us again to place custom rug orders for their homes, hotels, and projects. They also recommended our rugs to their friends and families, helping our name spread through trust and word of mouth. Over the years, this support grew into a loyal customer base across the world, especially in the United States, where our handmade rugs became highly appreciated for their quality and authenticity.
