1. Vacuum regularly using suction-only mode, no beater bar
2. Spot clean spills immediately with a dry absorbent cloth
3. For deeper cleaning use mild soap with cold water and blot gently
4. Avoid soaking the rug, natural jute does not respond well to heavy moisture
5. Air dry completely in a shaded area away from direct sunlight
6. Rotate the rug every few months for even wear
7. Use a non-slip rug pad underneath on smooth flooring
8. Shake out loose dust outdoors every few weeks
